Florence Our drive takes us through the regions of Lazio and Umbria.
In Florence we visit Galleria dell'Accademia to see the original David,
the 3rd Pietà, and The Prisoners by Michelangelo. We visit the Cathedral
of Santa Maria del Fiore to see Brunelleschi's dome, The Baptistry with
Ghiberti's bronze doors and Giotto's Belfry. From here walk to Piazza
della Signoria with the Palazzo Vecchio.

After lunch go to Piazza Santa Croce for free time to visit the church with
graves of Michelangelo, Gallileo, Rossini & Machiavelli, or vist the ancient "School of Leather & local shops.
Then drive to Piazzale Michelangelo for the view of the city below before returning to Rome at approx. 9pm.
